The Association presented its first “Cedar Fest”, The festival
was held Sunday 23rd
September on the Lebanese Hall premises.

ANZAC Day 2007
Commemoration was held on
the 25th of April at the ALAQ Community Hall.

The First ALAQ Tennis Tournament was held
on Sunday the 11th of March, 2007.

The ALAQ Cedars Soccer team played in there season final on Saturday the
10th of March, 2007.

ANZAC Day - 25th April 2006 at The Australia Lebanese Community Hall 77 Andrew Ave
Tarragindi. Lebanese MP Mr Brahim Kanaan addressed those

- A fundraising dinner was
held by Auxilia on Sunday 19th of February 2006 at Al Samar Restaurant.
- On Sunday the 18th of
December 2005, a memorial mass was held at St Paul's Antiochian Orthodox
Church for Gibran Tueni, Andre Mrad & Nicolas Flouti.

After thirty
years, Lebanon's True
Independence was celebrated on 26th November 2005 at the R.N.A. Showgrounds.
- Competed in the annual
Multi-Cultural Soccer Tournament held by Queensland Police. Cedars came
runner-up.
- Mothers
Day Celebrations Saturday
the 7th May 2005. Held at
our Community Hall 77 Andrew
Ave, Tarragindi.

The
United Australian Lebanese Movement in conjunction with The Australian
Lebanese Association of Queensland, held the 3rd annual ANZAC
Day commemorations on Monday 25th April 2005.

On
Sunday the 3rd of April at 7:30pm, there was a presentation
on the poet Gibran Khalil Gribran by Dr Joseph Taouk, at the
Tarragindi Community Hall.

On
Sunday the 3rd of April there was a memorial mass at St Maroun's
Church at 10am, organised by Akel Fakhry, for the former Lebanese
prime minister Rafik al-Hariri.

Regional Council Of Australia And New Zealand Held Its General
Meeting In Brisbane.
